The Life Events of Jesus

Born on Passover

Jesus was not born in winter.
He was born on Nisan 14—Passover.
The Lamb of God entered the world on the same day the Passover lamb was chosen and slain.

“Behold the Lamb of God…” (John 1:29)
“…Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us.” (1 Corinthians 5:7)

His birth was not just miraculous—it was timed.
Fulfilled in rhythm with Exodus 12.

Baptized in the Fall

Jesus was baptized around the time of Yom Teruah (Trumpets)—announcing His ministry publicly.

“This is my beloved Son…” (Matthew 3:17)

His voice echoed into a world that had gone quiet since Malachi.
A trumpet sound without a trumpet.

Ministry Aligned with the Feasts

Jesus kept every feast:

• He went to Passover (John 2:13, Luke 22)
• He taught at Tabernacles (John 7)
• He honored Unleavened Bread (Luke 22:1)
• He fulfilled Wave Sheaf by rising on it (1 Corinthians 15:20)
• He fulfilled Firstfruits/Weeks by sending the Holy Spirit to the Apostles on it (Acts 2:1, YLT)

His every step walked the calendar God had given.

Crucified on Nisan 14

Jesus was crucified on Passover (Nisan 14), at the same time the lambs were being slain.
He was buried before sunset and remained in the tomb during Unleavened Bread.
He rose on Wave Sheaf (Nisan 16), just before dawn.

“As Jonah was in the belly of the sea-creature three days and three nights…” (Matthew 12:40)

It matches.

Not tradition.
Not doctrine.
The Word.

Ascended and Sent the Spirit

He ascended forty days after resurrection—
and sent the Spirit on the 50th day, Firstfruits/Weeks (Pentecost).

“And when the day of Pentecost was being fulfilled…” (Acts 2:1, YLT)

Not a new day.
A fulfilled one.

Why It Matters

Because if His birth, death, resurrection, and ascension all aligned with God’s feast days—
then so will His return.

The calendar is not symbolic.
It is structural.
